All Dangerous Goods are included in one of nine internationally recognised primary classes. Some classes have sub-classes to provide greater articulation of the specific nature and exposure of the dangerous goods. Standard OH & S practice is to visually communicate the issue or danger with an easy to recognise sign, label or banner in the immediate area exposed or potentially exposed to the dangerous goods. Silverback provide a comprehensive range of labels and signs in various sizes, materials; and customisation on request.

Class 2.1 Flamable Gas - 250 mm label Class 2.1 Flamable Gas - 250 mm label

Flammable gases can be ignited in air. They may be lighter or heavier than air. Heavier than air gases can collect in low lying areas such as pits, depressions, and drains causing a fire and explosion hazard. Examples include: liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen and acetylene.
